A customer brought in this Aero Precision Texas Edition lower and wanted it Cerakoted in burnt bronze but wanted a deeper variation of the color. We came up with this deeper mix and got it done today. It came out better than I imagined. I foresee this mix getting used more ofthen in the future. These were the best pictures I could get but they really don’t do it any justice!
We have been so busy working in the shop that we have had little time to work on the website; adding products, updating inventories, and posting projects. We hope to get caught up on some of that this weekend…
Here’s the first project post:
This Kel-Tec PF9 was brought to us by a client who had left it inside the nifty little plastic box the pistol came in from the manufacturer. He was not aware the case had held moisture allowing the pistol to rust severely. Sometimes, when these things are caught early, we can clean the weapon up by removing the surface rust without damaging the finish. This pistol was far beyond that point. After discussing refinish options with the client, he decided to have us strip the slide and barrel and refinish them with Armour Black Cerakote.
